No quarantine after all

I talked to the vet. Apparently the tech didn't want to or just didn't go to the doctor. That means our cat wasn't officially on the "bad cat" list so to speak. He doesn't have to go in for a re-check after all. That is great news for him. He doesn't' like going to the vet much. Apparently he really doesn't like having blood drawn. Can't say I blame him though.

Today has been rainy. I know that this is the day that the Lord has made, I just prefer the sunny ones. :) Hoping to see the sun soon.

Friday

The holidays are over and we are back to regular schedule. I enjoy Christmas, but I was ready to get back to normal.

I took both of our cats in for their yearly shots and checkups. It wasn't cheap, and while having blood drawn our older cat bit the vet tech. It wasn't a bad bite, but I felt really badly. Of course, it has to be reported for legal purposes and the vet assistant has to go on antibiotics and etc, since this was a cat bite. I have been told we have to do a 10 day quarantine. The vet is recommending to the officials that it be done at home, since he wasn't vicious, just scared and having blood drawn (ouch). Hope they agree with her. sigh.

On a happier note, I have been slowly doing some de-cluttering and organizing. I don't have a desk area to write on, so I keep my stationary in a basket. I can keep it all organized and pretty and its portable so when I have a free moment, I can write out a short note to friends and family. I love snail mail, and I know many people who do as well. There's just something special about getting that letter in the mailbox.

Blessings to you this day

Quality Time
with a secondary love language being
Acts of Service.

Information

Unhappiness in relationships, according to Dr. Gary Chapman, is often due to the fact that we speak different love languages. Sometimes we don't understand our partner's requirements, or even our own. We all have a "love tank" that needs to be filled in order for us to express love to others, but there are different means by which our tank can be filled, and there are different ways that we can express love to others.

Ok I have been working on this and trying new templates. I hope I have things back to normal, but I am not very good at this technical stuff, so if I have a wierd brown band at the top, please excuse me! I am still learning. :)
