Education happens outside school too
Have you ever thought of that? We learn constantly. Children absorb information like a sponge. Why do so many believe that the only good education comes from a brick and mortar school? I have learned so much more outside the classroom than I ever did in it. I think I would have understood math so much better if I had learned it the way my Dad tried to show me, than I ever did from the "new math" in textbooks.

What a great message....
Here is a wonderful message by Dr. Voddie Baucham. For some it might be a radically different message than you have ever heard before. I guarantee you will not be bored, and you will learn from it.

home again home again jiggety jig
That's about all I can remember from that particular nursery rhyme. I used to know many of them.
We have returned from picking up the children at their grandparents. We had the opportunity to visit with them for a couple of days. That was nice. It was a long trip though. Thankfully we came home to some rain. We needed it. Today is starting out much cooler. I needed that. I don't take the heat well. I remember my mother having the same problem. Thankfully I have air conditioning to hibernate in.
I was happy to find my issue of Making It Home magazine waiting for me in the mailbox. I read each issue several times through. there's always something in it to help me in my walk. I can't say enough good things about it. If you are interested the website is: www.makingithomemagazine.com
